Open questions what is probable, weak or missing — confirm or correct it

Weak or missing
What is weak or missing: she is known only from these obituaries, which were read as machine-read text, not from the page images; no birth, marriage or death record of hers has been read, so her birth year and her death are not known and none is entered; her husband’s name, below, is probable. A Benjes–Proeger marriage record, at Baltimore or Pittsburgh, would settle it. Know more? Use “Add to this record”.
Probable
🆕 Probable confirm or correct → Her husband was probably Richard P. Benjes of Baltimore. Evidence: the 1910 census of Baltimore, Ward 8, has Richard Benjes, 31, with his wife Minnie W., 31, born in Pennsylvania of German-born parents, married 8 years; the 1920 census, Ward 4, has Richard P. Benjes, 41, and his wife Minnie, 41 S1665. What is weak or missing: both were read from the index only, and no record gives this Minnie’s maiden name, so that she is the Proeger daughter rests on her name, the city, her birth state and her German-born parents. He was added to the family tree on 11 October 2026 with no dates and has no card of his own. A Benjes–Proeger marriage record of about 1902 would confirm or correct this

Compiled for the Proeger family

Living adults appear by name and relationship, with the year only: no full date of birth and no home town on any page that search engines index, and a living person’s own page is kept out of search engines. Minors appear by name only — no date of birth, no birth year, no age, no school, no place, no address, no other identifying detail. A minor may be named and may appear in a family photograph; nothing further about them is published. Where it is not established whether someone is an adult or a minor, the minor rule applies.
