Research status: PROBABLE (strong) as the mother of Florência Luiza, and so maternal grandmother of Frank Silva Sr. Named as maternal grandmother in his 1862 baptism S1228, and as Florência's mother, wife of José Matheus, in Florência's 1880 burial S1230. Added 4 October 2026

Evidence: she is named as Florência Luiza's mother in two independent register entries read from the images — Frank Silva Sr's 1862 baptism (maternal grandmother) and Florência's own 1880 burial (mother, married to José Matheus) — and the name agrees exactly in both. Frank Sr's mother. Same house-place (Fonte Nova) as his 1862 baptism and the 1886 marriage margin, husband named, so identity is secure. Gives her parents: José Matheus × Anna Felicia. Age 60 → b. c.1820. Husband alive in Feb 1880.
