Born in 1972. The Texas Birth Index names his father as Thomas Alan Caffey and his mother as Clare LaVonne Walker S126
the same two parents the same index gives for Kristin three years later. That is what makes him her full brother, and it is a state record, not a surname match.

Corroborated independently: his grandmother Dorothy LaVonne Walker's 2022 obituary lists him and Kristin in a single sentence as grandchildren of the same woman S36. Two sources, neither derived from the other. Confirmed

the 1990 volume's index prints "Caffey, Bradley N 'Brad' (12)" directly above "Caffey, Kristin (9)" on the same page S132: the two of them at one school in one year, a senior and a freshman, which is exactly what a 1972 and a 1975 birth predict. ⚠️ A 1987 Austin yearbook also indexes him, but which school that volume is has not been verified and is not claimed here.
Were there other children? Probably not, and "probably" is the honest word. Across the whole Caffey record cluster and the full obituary survivor list, only Brad and Kristin appear as children of Thomas Alan Caffey and Clare LaVonne Walker. That is absence of evidence — but from two sources that each had reason to name everyone, which is why it is Probable confirm or correct → and not Confirmed S126.
He is living, and this page publishes living adults in full — Earl's rule of 21 September 2026. His residence history, which the records also supply down to city and year, stays in the research corpus: that is an editorial judgement about what belongs in a genealogy, not a privacy rule.

Earl chose on 25 September 2026 to publish two items that show them in full: the obituary page image itself, and a 2015 family portrait of Brad and Erin with two children, below. The portrait's uploader tagged only Brad and Erin, so the children in it are Probable as Preston and Scarlett.
